IT Project Manager

Overview

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven IT Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of software development life cycles, IT infrastructure, or enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria
• Develop detailed project plans, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets
• Lead cross-functional teams including developers, QA, UI/UX, DevOps, and clients
• Track project progress using tools like Jira, Trello, or MS Project
• Identify and mitigate project risks, delays, and scope changes
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external clients
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives (Agile/Scrum)
• Ensure high-quality delivery and post-implementation support
• Prepare and present project status reports to management and clients

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management or related role
• Strong understanding of SDLC (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies)
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and people-management skills
• Experience managing budgets, timelines, and vendor contracts
• Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Asana, MS Project)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills

Technical Knowledge (Preferred):

• Background in software/web development, DevOps, or IT infrastructure
• Familiarity with technologies like PHP/Laravel , React Native, MySql, AWS, etc.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• PMP, PRINCE2, CSM or other project management certifications preferred

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with remote/distributed teams
• Exposure to government, BFSI, or healthcare IT projects
• Bilingual communication (Telugu must, English/Hindi)

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 9 months

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
