Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive PHP Project Manager to lead and coordinate web development projects across PHP-based platforms including WordPress and Shopify. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and a solid understanding of technical requirements gathering (FRD/BRD). You will act as the bridge between our clients and the development team to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple web development projects using PHP, WordPress, and Shopify.
• Create and manage FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents) and BRDs (Business Requirement Documents).
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Work closely with development teams to translate client needs into actionable tasks.
• Utilize Agile and Scrum methodologies to plan and monitor project progress.
• Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Track tasks and progress using Jira or similar project management tools.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients and team members.
• Ensure deliverables meet business and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for projects.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in a PHP development environment.
• Proven experience with WordPress and Shopify projects.
• Strong understanding of FRD/BRD creation and documentation best practices.
• Expertise in Agile and Scrum frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Jira or other project tracking tools.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and client expectations.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive problem-solver.Nice to Have:
• Experience with Shopify Plus
• Knowledge of other eCommerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce, Magento)
• Experience with page builders like Shogun or PageFly
