Overview
A Snapshot of Your DayIn this role, you will drive key Finance Digitalization initiatives across Siemens Energy by managing IT projects and delivering SAP FICO solutions that support global finance transformation. Your day will involve coordinating closely with finance stakeholders, process owners, and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered smoothly, aligned with global templates, and positioned to enable scalable and standardized finance processes.
You will act as the bridge between business and IT, translating requirements into functional SAP solutions while ensuring project governance, risk management, and execution discipline. You will support global rollouts, guide testing and deployment activities, and contribute to emerging AI-driven initiatives within the Finance organization, helping strengthen the digital foundation of finance operations across regions.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Lead and coordinate IT projects, including AI initiatives within the Finance domain.
- Drive project planning, execution, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder alignment.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional SAP FICO solutions.
- Deliver solution designs, support fit-gap analysis, and ensure alignment with global templates.
- Support testing cycles, defect resolution, cutover planning, deployment, and hypercare activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Process Owners, Template Owners, Architecture, Integration teams, and external partners.
- Contribute to rollout preparation, documentation, and enablement of end users.
- 5+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience, including FI/CO and integration knowledge.
- Strong experience managing IT projects within SAP or Finance transformation programs.
- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA Finance or SAP ECC systems.
- Understanding of global finance processes and cross-module SAP integration.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style.
