Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust SAP programs using ABAP OOP, RFC, BADI, BAPI, User Exits, SmartForms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms, ALV Reports, and IDocs.
• Build and enhance OData services for Fiori/UI5 applications, including extending standard SAP services as needed.
• Translate functional specifications into detailed technical designs and ensure accurate unit testing and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing programs for performance and reliability.
• Apply OSS Notes, implement system enhancements, and resolve technical issues including short dumps.
• Collaborate with BASIS, Security, and Functional teams to deliver high-quality custom developments.
• Participate in code reviews, monitor SAP releases, and evaluate new functionalities for system enhancement.
• Lead SAP technical projects, provide technical guidance to junior developers, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Contribute to system upgrades, patch implementations, and release planning with a focus on minimizing business disruption.
• Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and recommend process or technical improvements.

Skills Required:

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP (Classical & Object-Oriented Programming)
• Expertise in OData service development and SAP Gateway projects
• Proficient in Reports, Enhancements, BAPI, BADI, IDocs, and Smart/Adobe Forms
• Experience in performance tuning and debugging techniques

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 integration
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environment and CDS Views
• Knowledge of SAP release management, transport management, and upgrade processes

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
