IT Supplier Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a person who will represent Tetra Pak when sourcing, negotiating with and managing world leading companies in the IT industry. You will deal with giants in the IT industry like Microsoft, SAP, Salesforce and Planview as well as smaller companies with cutting edge technology.

You will be part of a team with IT sourcing specialists called IT Supplier Management. We work closely with Tetra Pak’s IT organisation, Global IM, but also other business stakeholders in Tetra Pak. We belong to the global Supplier Management function and share tools and processes with colleagues in the other segments.

This position will be based in Chakan, Pune

What You Will Do

• lead sourcing, price- and contract negotiations as a valuable member in Tetra Pak’s projects.
• involve in working in close cooperation with project managers, service managers and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with requirements, processes and future directions.
• Be responsible for vendor management for some suppliers.
• This position will be located in Chakan, India, but you will work on a global arena.
  
  

You will focus on

• Sourcing activities, driving RFI and RFP processes.
• Negotiate price- and contract conditions with global suppliers.
• Vendor management.
• Be the Supplier Management representee in Tetra Pak projects and contacts with stakeholders.
  
  

We believe you have

• A Full Time graduation degree or equivalent from a reputed institute.
• At least 10 years experience in sourcing, contracting and negotiating with IT suppliers. Experience from Sales is a plus.
• Commercial mindset, a proven ability to drive and communicate and who can work proactively in a matrix environment with both internal and external parties.
• Business oriented mind set and have a strong and recognized informal authority as well as a natural seniority.
• A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
• Experience from IT projects or support is a plus.
