About the Role
We are looking for a self starter, and proactive IT Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on experience providing remote and on-premise IT support across Windows and Linux environments. This is an on-Premise role with some WFH flexibility. The role requires excellent technical troubleshooting skills, a service-oriented mindset, willingness to support employees in-office and remote, be creative in creating cost effective solution (as applicable) and the ability to collaborate effectively with employees, cross-functional teams and leaders in India and other markets.
Your responsibilities:
Provide remote and on-premise technical support for end-users
Support and troubleshoot Windows and Linux based Laptops
Manage email systems and domain configurations
Perform basic laptop hardware repairs and diagnostics
Handle employee onboarding/offboarding from an IT assets perspective
Manage and maintain basic network infrastructure – including switches and routers
Coordinate with multiple departments to resolve internal IT tickets
Use and manage JIRA for ticket tracking and issue resolution
Ensure timely and efficient asset tracking and documentation
Work with global IT team(s) to implement changes & IT-policy updates efficiently
Foster good communication and maintain strong working relationships with employees and department heads.
Who you are:
3–5 years of experience in a similar IT support role
Proficiency in Windows and Linux OS environments
Experience with email systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace) and domain management (DNS, AD, etc.)
Knowledge of basic networking concepts (IP, DHCP, switches, routers)
Familiarity with basic laptop hardware troubleshooting and repair
Experience in ticketing systems – preferably JIRA
Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
Ability to manage time efficiently and multitask in a dynamic environment.
Nice to Have:
Exposure to scripting or automation tools is a plus.
