Job Description for IT Support Engineer
Duties & Responsibilities
- Carrying out the day-to-day problems & activities like monitoring of all the equipment, network monitoring, monitoring of server room, loading system drivers as & when required, fixing loose contacts.
- monitoring & changing the consumables of plotters & printers, checking the security and vulnerability of the systems, scanning for virus etc.
- Logging maintenance calls related to the system by ONGC's representative.
· Performing & Submitting Preventive Maintenance, Breakdown calls, and attendance reports, as well as call logs, to our tech team.
· Maintenance and troubleshooting of data center equipment.
· Installation/ re-installation and maintenance of software applicable to run the system and
certain custom client applications.
· Configuration of any equipment in network during installation/ repair according to ONGC’s requirement, backup, formatting restoration of system as and when required, ensuring no loss of data during the process.
· Checking up of printers for paper, calibration, dust and smooth operation & cleaning of printer head.
· Checking of Earthing and power conditions and informing concerned In-charge Data center to take corrective actions
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policies
- Hands-on experience with WSUS Server
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Switches.
Required Skills & Qualification
A bachelor’s degree in related field is often preferred.
Linux and Windows 2022 sever.
Minimum of one year's experience in maintaining data center equipment.
1 to 3 years of experience in RHEL, Windows Server, and Networking.
- Certifications: RHEL, MCSE, and CCNA

Pay: ₹8,486.17 - ₹41,630.72 per month
