Job Title: IT Support Executive
Industry: Freight & Logistics
Location: Sector 75, Mohali
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:30 PM – 2:00 AM (Night Shift)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable IT Support Executive to provide technical support and ensure smooth IT operations during the night shift. The ideal candidate will handle hardware/software issues, network troubleshooting, and support employees with daily technical needs in a fast-paced logistics environment. This role is based at our Sector 75, Mohali office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level support for desktop, laptop, printer, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware problems across the company’s systems.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, especially during shift transitions.
- Support logistics/dispatch teams with any IT-related issues during night operations.
- Install, configure, and update software and operating systems.
- Maintain system backups, antivirus updates, and IT documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors for repairs, upgrades, or outsourced IT services.
- Report and escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff or management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, basic networking, and hardware.
- Familiarity with freight/logistics software is a plus.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently during night hours.
