Job Title: IT Support Specialist
Location: Udhna Darwaja, Surat

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. The ideal candidate will have excellent troubleshooting skills and a strong understanding of desktop systems, mobile devices, and other technology tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for users with hardware, software, and application issues.
- Respond to help desk requests via ticketing system, email, phone, or in-person.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, including operating systems, printers, and networking equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft Windows, Office 365, email, and network connectivity.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams or third-party vendors.
- Maintain IT documentation including user guides, asset inventories, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Assist in managing user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and other platforms.
- Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and new technology rollouts.
- Ensure security best practices are followed, including regular updates and backups.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, networking, and desktop/laptop troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
- Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk).
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Batch).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is an advantage.
