IT Support Specialist

Overview

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Technical Support:
• Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Troubleshoot systems, applications, and connectivity problems.
• Set up and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Network Management:
• Monitor and maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connections, and firewalls.
• Ensure network security through proper configurations and access controls.
• Coordinate with internet service providers (ISPs) for uptime and troubleshooting.
• System Maintenance:
• Regularly update and patch operating systems and installed software.
• Perform periodic backups and ensure data recovery solutions are in place.
• Manage antivirus systems and ensure endpoint protection.
• User Management:
• Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels.
• Assist employees with email configurations and remote access setups (VPN, etc.).
• Conduct basic IT orientation for new employees.
• Asset Management:
• Maintain an inventory of all IT assets including hardware and licensed software.
• Oversee the procurement, tagging, and disposal of IT equipment.
• Vendor Coordination:
• Liaise with external vendors for hardware procurement, AMC, and warranty support.
• Coordinate with software and cloud service providers as needed.
• Data Security and Compliance:
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols.
• Ensure data privacy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain records of issues, resolutions, and IT checklists.
• Prepare and submit regular IT performance and incident reports to management.
• Website / Email / ERP Support (if applicable):
• Coordinate with web developers for content updates and maintenance.
• Handle email configuration, troubleshooting, and domain management.
• Provide ERP or internal system support to users.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
