Role Overview
CodeQuotient is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable IT Trainers to join our team. This role is ideal for those with a strong foundation in IT, programming, and computer science principles, who enjoy teaching and mentoring others. As an IT Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging training sessions, helping aspiring programmers and technical talent acquire the necessary skills to succeed in the tech industry. You’ll also play a key role in creating and enhancing training materials and resources to ensure the best learning experience for our trainees.
Principle Accountabilities
In this role, you wil:
- Conduct training sessions in areas such as programming languages (C, C++, Java, JavaScript), data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and problem-solving techniques.
- Develop clear and effective training materials, including slides, exercises, and documentation, to help learners grasp complex concepts.
- Evaluate learner performance through assessments, quizzes, coding challenges, and hands-on projects. Provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to trainees, answering questions, addressing challenges, and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in technology, programming, and IT education, ensuring training materials reflect current best practices.
Key Technical Skills and Knowledge
We're looking for someone who has:
- Strong academic background in IT, programming, or related technical fields, and a passion for teaching.
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals like Data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and problem-solving techniques.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: C, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with various instructional techniques, such as blended learning, e-learning, and hands-on practice.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple, understandable way.
- Comfortable with public speaking and engaging an audience.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training platforms is a plus.
