Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer for a 6-month contract role based in Pune. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java-based enterprise application development and a solid understanding of cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer/internal requirements and translate them into software design documents; present RFCs to the architecture team
• Write clean, high-quality, maintainable code based on approved designs
• Conduct thorough unit and system-level testing to ensure software reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and deliver applications
• Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and responsiveness of applications
• Take technical ownership of assigned features
• Provide mentorship and support to team members for resolving technical and functional issues
• Review and approve peer code through pull requests

Must-Have Skills

• Frameworks/Technologies: Spring Boot, Spring AOP, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Play, REST APIs, Microservices
• Programming Languages: Core Java, Java 8 (streams, lambdas, fluent-style programming), J2EE
• Database: Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries
• DevOps: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud: Solid understanding of AWS services such as S3, Lambda, SNS, SQS, IAM Roles, Kinesis, EMR, Databricks
• Coding Practices: Scalable and maintainable code development; experience in cloud-native application development

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Additional Languages/Frameworks: Golang, React, OAuth, SCIM
• Databases: NoSQL, Redshift
• AWS Tools: KMS, CloudWatch, Caching, Notification Services, Queues

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Up to ₹80,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
