Java Developer

Join the MacCap Equity Derivatives and Trading Risk Technology team to build and support in-house applications for managing risk, tracking profit and loss, and producing reports for front office, middle office, risk management, and finance teams.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain applications that support business operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality. Additionally, you will handle operations support tasks in a dynamic DevOps environment to ensure production stability.

What You Offer

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java (version 8 or above) and Spring Boot;
• Solid experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools such as JIRA, Maven, ArgoCD, Bamboo, Artifactory, and Git Stash;
• Experience with database technologies (e.g., Sybase, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) is a plus;
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environment; and
• Experience working with business users in financial institutions.
