Java Developer

We are looking for a Java Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Java-based application development. You will be part of our Professional Services and Engineering team, contributing to solution implementation, customization, integration, and data management. The role offers the opportunity to work across modern enterprise stacks, collaborate with senior consultants and architects, and grow into a Tech Lead / Senior Developer role.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, and deployment of Java-based applications and services.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Tech Leads to implement functional and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend components using Java, Spring Boot, and J2EE.
• Work with SQL databases (Oracle) for data modeling, query tuning, indexing strategies, execution plan analysis and performance optimization.
• Support integration of third-party systems and APIs.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Assist in data migration, validation, and troubleshooting during deployments.
• Document code, configurations, and technical processes following best practices.

Must-Have Skills

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, OOP concepts, and J2EE technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle database development, stored procedures, triggers, XML data parsing/handling and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL (Oracle) and database operations.
• Good debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with HTML, XML, and JSON-based APIs.
• Exposure to Eclipse IDE, VS Code, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Git / SVN version control along with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and release management using Sirius.
• Basic understanding of deployment, scripting, or containerization concepts (e.g., Docker).
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
