Java Developer with Spring, Hibernate, and Database Expertise

Overview

Synechron is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our technology team. The role involves developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality Java applications that support business operations. The candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable, and efficient solutions that align with organizational goals, industry standards, and best practices. This position plays a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of enterprise-level Java systems.

Software Requirements

• Required:
• Java (latest stable version), including Java SE and Java EE
• Frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, Struts
• Development environments: Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, NetBeans
• Databases: MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server
• Preferred:
• Version control tools (Git, Bitbucket)
• Build tools (Maven, Jenkins)
• Cloud deployment tools (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  

• Develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications that fulfill technical and business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, designers, and QA to define and implement solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and agile ceremonies.
• Stay informed of the latest trends and advancements in Java development to recommend applicable improvements.

• Preferred: NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) for specific use cases
• Cloud Technologies:
• Preferred: Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for deployment and scalability
• Frameworks and Libraries:
• Required: Spring, Hibernate, Struts
• Preferred: Testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and integration tools
• Development Tools and Methodologies:
• Required: Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, NetBeans, Git, Maven, Jenkins
• Agile/Scrum methodologies for project management and continuous delivery
• Security Protocols:
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, authentication, data encryption, and authorization mechanisms in Java applications
  

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Proven experience working with Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
• Experience designing and managing database schemas and SQL queries.
• Familiarity with common development tools, agile practices, and team collaboration.
• Experience in delivering enterprise Java solutions, with a track record of contributing to large-scale projects.
• Equivalent experience in related roles with demonstrated proficiency in Java development may be considered.
  
  

• Develop and enhance Java applications based on project specifications.
• Collaborate with team members on technical design, implementation, and testing.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and security.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospective meetings.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, code, and workflows.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest Java technology trends and incorporate relevant practices.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent technical field.
• Professional Java certification (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) is a plus.
