Java Fullstack Developer - VP

Overview

• Our technology team is maintaining, enhancing, and transforming the strategic global platform for repo trade life-cycle capture and management. We are looking for a motivated and experience Java full-stack development lead with Polyglot skills in Bangalore with a passion for agile practices to join our global team and help implement our vision.
• Primary responsibility will be driving the technical solution and delivery for business features and therefore help drive new initiatives that enable transformational program or growth initiatives for new business deliveries. Dev/SL2/SL3 Engineers are located across India, London, US and Singapore.
  
  

Repo Trade Life-cycle Platform is a suite of components written in C++, Java, C#, React and Oracle. The platform is at the heart of financing the bank’s fixed income positions.

• Build & Lead the delivery for new epics and enhance the existing features.
• Implement technical design on our core initiatives
• Proven hands-on experience in TDD, unit testing, acceptance testing
• Collaborative; enthusiastic to contribute ideas on team development practices
• Contributing to technical/architectural direction and choice of technologies
• Willingness to understand business domain, work with business users/stakeholders
• Involvement in release planning, testing strategies, and some 3rd-line support (rotation based)

We’re more interested in your approach to development. We value working with the business to create a product with long-term value and writing robust, simple and well-tested software. However, the current technical stack includes C++, C#, Java, React, REST web services, Oracle, Protobuf and caching/messaging solutions.

Your Skills And Experience

• Design and development experience on Java based services.
• Design and development experience on client-side web applications e.g. React/Angular
• Experience on distributed applications, multi-threaded components, performance optimization
• Experience on full software development life cycle and professional experience using Spring framework
• Solid and strong experience on Oracle and Linux.
• Ready to work on projects with high complexity and responsibility
• Are accustomed to integrating with third-party services using their APIs
• Know-how of REST, GRPC and Protobuf
• Working knowledge of message buses (e.g. JMS, MSMQ, Solace, Kafka)
• Fixed Income Product Knowledge, specifically Trade Processing Life Cycle
• Experience on at-least one public cloud – GCP (most-preferred), AWS, Azure.
