Overview
We are looking for a proactive and technically strong L3 Support Engineer to handle production support and incident management for enterprise applications built on Java, Oracle PL/SQL, and Kafka. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deep-dive issue resolution, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and coordination with development teams for bug fixes and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
Strong hands-on experience in Java (Core Java, Spring boot , Exception Handling, Multithreading).
Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL: writing/debugging complex queries, procedures, performance tuning.
Good working knowledge of Apache Kafka: producers/consumers, partitions, lag monitoring, troubleshooting.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and REST APIs is a plus.
Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, etc.) is desirable.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to handle high-pressure support situations.
Provide L3-level support for Java-based enterprise applications in a production environment.
Perform in-depth analysis of incidents, troubleshoot issues, and provide permanent resolutions.
Write and debug complex PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and packages in Oracle.
Monitor and manage Kafka message queues, diagnose delays, and resolve bottlenecks in streaming data pipelines.
Collaborate with L1/L2 support teams for escalation and resolution.
Implement hotfixes or coordinate with development teams for code changes.
Ensure proper documentation of support procedures, known issues, and resolution steps.
Participate in on-call rotation and handle critical incidents with minimal supervision.
Work with DevOps teams to deploy and validate patches or configuration changes.
