Overview
Responsibilities
- Build low-latency, high-availability, and scalable platform components.
- Develop and maintain REST/GraphQL services, leveraging appropriate SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Ensure quality, performance, robustness, and scalability of implemented services.
- Automate functional and performance test cases, build, and deployment processes.
- Provide timely resolution of production application, performance, and infrastructure issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct regular code reviews.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver effective solutions.
Skillset Required
- 4–6 years of experience in Java application development.
- Experience in cloud-native applications (AWS, GCP).
- Strong expertise in Microservices (Spring Boot), distributed applications, and low-latency systems.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases, event brokers (Kafka), API gateways, and serverless functions (AWS Lambda) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
