Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Jr. Software Engineer- QA to join our Quality Assurance team. The candidate will be responsible for performing manual and automation testing to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance. Freshers with ISTQB certification and knowledge of automation tools are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and prepare test scenarios & test cases
• Perform Manual Testing including:
• Functional Testing
• Regression Testing
• Smoke Testing
• Integration Testing
• UAT Testing
• Identify, report, and track bugs using tools like Jira/Bugzilla
• Execute test cases and document test results
• Support Automation Testing using Selenium / Playwright / Cypress
• Participate in API Testing using Postman
• Perform basic Database Testing using SQL queries
• Work closely with developers and business teams
• Maintain QA documentation and test reports
• Ensure software quality before production release

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodology
• Knowledge of Manual Testing concepts
• Basic Automation Testing knowledge
• Selenium with Java/Python preferred
• Knowledge of API Testing tools like Postman
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Scienece / IT
• ISTQB Foundation Level Certification
• Internship/project experience in QA Testing
• Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, or CI/CD is an advantage
• Exposure to web/mobile application testing

Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹180,000.00 per year
