Jr. UI/UX Developer

Overview

Penguin Data Centre is a travel business IT firm seeking a UI/UX developer with 6 to 12 months of experience to join our team. We're seeking someone with strong experience in front-end technologies and basic programming knowledge.

Responsibilities:

· Create wireframes and high-fidelity designs in Figma or using modern UI/UX tools

· Build interactive prototypes and user flows

· Export assets, specs & style documentation to developers via Zeplin

· Collaborate with development teams to implement and iterate on designs

· Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions

· Maintain design systems and component libraries

· Create responsive designs that work across multiple devices and platforms

Requirements:

· Strong Figma skills for design and prototyping

· Basic knowledge of front-end development, especially .NET and Angular

· Basic CSS/SCSS/HTML5/JavaScript knowledge

· Experience with AI-powered design tools such as:

o Visily AI for rapid wireframing and design generation

o Anima AI for design-to-code automation and responsive design

o Attention Insight for AI-driven user attention prediction

o Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator or any AI tools editor like CANVA for AI-assisted mockup creation

· Familiarity with design handoff tools like Zeplin, Avocode, or Figma Dev Mode

· Knowledge of design systems and atomic design principles

· Understanding of user experience principles and design thinking methodology

· Experience with version control systems (Git) for design collaboration

· Basic understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG, i.e. Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)

· Strong communication skills and the ability to present design concepts to stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with additional prototyping tools (Principle, ProtoPie, or InVision)

· Knowledge of motion design and micro-interactions

· Understanding of agile development methodologies

· Portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design projects and problem-solving approach

Commitment: 2 years

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
