Role : Android Developer - Java/Kotlin
Location : Onsite - Koramangala, Bengaluru

We are seeking a talented Android Developer with 2 - 4 years of experience to join our mobile development team at our Koramangala, Bengaluru office. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining Android applications that reach millions of users. Youll work closely with product, design, and backend teams to build seamless user experiences in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining Android applications that reach millions of users. Youll work closely with product, design, and backend teams to build seamless user experiences in a fast-paced environment.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience in Android development using Java and Kotlin
- Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android UI design principles, and best practices
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs integration
- Familiarity with MVVM/MVP architectures
- Experience with Android Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, etc.)
- Good grasp of mobile performance optimization and debugging
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
- Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
- Experience with Unit Testing and UI Testing frameworks
- Familiarity with Play Store deployment and app lifecycle
- Experience with Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config)
- Knowledge of coroutines, RxJava, or other asynchronous programming models
- Experience with third-party SDKs and services integration
- Prior exposure to CI/CD for Android and app release management
- Design and build advanced Android applications for the Omaza platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and team practices
- Help maintain and improve app architecture and overall user experience
