We are looking for a passionate and curious Junior Data Scientist to join our Data Science team in Kolkata. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with up to 2 years of experience in data analytics or machine learning. You will work alongside senior data professionals on projects involving data analysis, predictive modeling, and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using statistical tools and programming languages
• Assist in building machine learning models and algorithms to support business solutions
• Create data visualizations and reports to communicate insights clearly
• Work closely with senior data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams
• Document data science workflows, methodologies, and outcomes
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data science

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, GenAI.
• Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
• Familiarity with SQL and data querying
• Understanding of statistics, data wrangling, and exploratory data analysis (EDA)
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹300,000.00 per year
