Junior DevOps Engineer (1–3 Years Experience)

Overview

About the Role

You will support the DevOps function by assisting with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, cloud environments, container orchestration, and operational reliability. This is a learning-heavy role designed to help you grow into a full DevOps engineer under the mentorship of an experienced senior.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
• Assist in managing AWS/GCP infrastructure, deployments, and monitoring.
• Work with Docker/Kubernetes for containerized workloads.
• Support configuration management, logging, and observability systems.
• Help troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotation (as required).
• Contribute to infrastructure documentation and runbooks.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Linux, Docker, Git, and cloud concepts.
• Familiarity with AWS or GCP services is a plus.
• Strong willingness to learn from senior DevOps engineers and follow best practices.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Kubernetes, Terraform, or CI/CD tooling.
• Interest in scalability, performance tuning, and cloud security.
