Job Title: Junior IT Administrator
Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid (US Shift)
Location: Chennai (Mostly Preferable)
Job Responsibilities:
G Suite (Google Workspace) Administration
- Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Google Admin Console.
- Handle email routing, alias setup, and troubleshooting Gmail delivery issues.
- Monitor storage usage and security settings across G Suite apps.
- Provide Support Google Meet, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and other Workspace tools.
Software License Management
- Maintain inventory of software licenses and renewals.
- Ensure license compliance for all installed software across the organization.
- Track software usage and identify underutilized or expired licenses.
User Support & IT Helpdesk (US Shift)
- Provide first-level support to US-based users via email or calls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and connectivity issues.
- Onboard/offboard employees by setting up accounts, devices, and access.
System & Security Support
- Assist in applying software updates, patches, and antivirus definitions.
- Help enforce IT security policies and data protection best practices.
- Monitor and respond to basic security alerts or access anomalies.
Documentation & Reporting
- Document support procedures, software inventory, and license details.
- Generate reports on G Suite usage, software deployment, and compliance status.
Collaboration & Escalation
- Work closely with senior IT staff and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different time zones.
Skills & Qualifications
Education: B.C.A, B.S.C (C.S), Diploma in C.S.E.
Experience: 0 to 2 years of hands-on experience in IT support or system administration roles.
Autodesk Software Support: Familiarity with installation, licensing, troubleshooting, and user support for Autodesk applications such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
Google Workspace (G Suite): Basic administration experience including user setup, email routing, and app troubleshooting.
Software License Management: Understanding of tracking, renewing, and auditing software licenses.
Networking: Basic knowledge of LAN/Wi-Fi, IP configuration, and DNS/DHCP troubleshooting.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for user support and documentation.
Presentation Skills: Ability to clearly present solutions or process walkthroughs to team members or non-technical users.
Adaptability: Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced and dynamic environments, especially during US business hours.
Team Player: Comfortable working independently or as part of a remote or cross-functional team
Pay: From ₹18,000 - ₹28,000 per month
