Junior PHP Developer

Overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior PHP Developer to join our development team. You will assist in the development and maintenance of web-based applications using PHP and related technologies. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of basic web development principles, be eager to learn, and be a team player.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient PHP code
• Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of web applications
• Collaborate with senior developers and designers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings
• Support the team in debugging and fixing reported issues
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Basic knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
• Familiarity with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter) is a plus
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with APIs (RESTful services)
• Familiarity with MVC architecture
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix command line
• Exposure to front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Vue.js

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
