Job Title: Manual & Automation Test Engineer with Team Handling & Process Coordination (1 Years Experience)
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Manual & Automation Test Engineer with 1 years of experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing both manual and automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, QA teams, and business analysts to identify testing requirements, implement automation frameworks, and drive continuous improvement in testing processes. Additionally, you will take on team handling responsibilities, guiding junior testers, and ensuring smooth coordination within the testing process.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing, a solid understanding of software testing principles, and proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cypress.
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of testers, ensuring high-quality test execution and on-time delivery of testing milestones.
- Coordinate and facilitate the testing process, ensuring all test activities are aligned with project timelines and objectives.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to define and implement comprehensive test automation and manual testing strategies.
- Conduct regression, functional, integration, and performance testing to ensure high software quality.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with development teams for timely defect resolution.
- Maintain and enhance testing processes, driving improvements in both manual and automated testing practices.
- Stay updated with emerging automation tools, technologies, and best practices to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in manual and automation testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or similar.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# for test automation.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI.
- Knowledge of test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or HP ALM.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills to identify test failures and root causes.
- Proven experience in team handling, mentoring, and coordinating testing activities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to drive process improvements and champion best practices in testing.
