Junior Software Tester (Fresher / Entry-Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Software Tester to join our growing QA team. This is an entry-level position, ideal for fresh graduates who are eager to begin their careers in manual software testing.

You will play a key role in ensuring the functionality, usability, and quality of both web and mobile applications. No prior experience is required, but basic knowledge of software testing concepts and web technologies will be a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Manual Testing
• Conduct manual testing of websites and mobile apps to identify bugs, UI/UX issues, and inconsistencies.
• Test Case Execution
• Execute detailed test cases, validate functionality, and accurately document the results.
• Bug Reporting
• Log and track issues using bug-tracking tools, providing clear and concise defect reports.
• Collaboration with Developers
• Work closely with developers to understand project requirements and ensure bugs are resolved efficiently.
• Test Documentation
• Assist in creating and maintaining test cases, test plans, and test summary reports.
• Quality Improvement
• Participate in discussions to improve product quality and overall user experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Final year students can also apply).
• Knowledge (Preferred but not mandatory):
• Basics of software testing and QA methodologies.
• Familiarity with website and mobile app interfaces.
• Understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (basic level).
• Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of software quality assurance.
