Junior Software Tester in Dharamshala

Key Responsibilities

• Understand product requirements and specifications
• Create, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios
• Perform functional, UI/UX, regression, and exploratory testing
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira or similar
• Collaborate closely with developers and project managers to clarify issues and ensure timely resolution
• Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives as part of the Agile development process
• Provide feedback on usability, design, and user experience
  
  

Requirements

• Demonstrate good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
• Show familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools
• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Communicate effectively with good written and verbal communication skills
• Maintain attention to detail and ability to think from an end-user perspective
• Possess basic knowledge of automation tools or scripting
• Have experience testing web or mobile applications
