Hiring a Kafka Architect for one of the leading enterprise IT solutions and digital transformation services provider.

Role details:

• Title / Designation: Kafka Architect
• Work mode: Hybrid
• Work timing: 2PM to 11 PM IST

Role & responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant Kafka-based event-driven architectures for real-time systems.
• Build and maintain Spring Boot microservices for Kafka producers and consumers with high throughput and low latency.
• Define and manage Kafka cluster architecture, including topics, partitions, replication, schema registry, security, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to automate deployment, scaling, and observability of Kafka ecosystems.
• Drive performance optimization, troubleshooting, and best practices for Kafka, stream processing, and distributed systems.

Candidate requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience as a Kafka Architect / Senior Kafka Engineer in large-scale production environments.
• Deep expertise in Spring Boot and microservices-based architecture.
• Proven experience with Kafka internals (brokers, partitions, replication, consumer groups, offset management).
• Hands-on exposure to stream processing frameworks such as Kafka Streams, kSQL, Flink, or Spark Streaming.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, including scalability, fault tolerance, data consistency, and performance tuning.
