Technical Support Executive

Requirements

We are currently seeking an Application Technical Support Engineer to join our team as an individual contributor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for our applications, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operation across environments. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams when needed.

Below are the skill sets required:

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Experience with application support in Windows and Linux environments

Proficiency in writing and understanding SQL queries

Knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, REST APIs, HTML, etc.)

Familiarity with log analysis and debugging tools

Understanding of basic networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls)

Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage incidents independently

Optional: Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) are a plus

Job responsibilities

Respond to and resolve customer reported issues via phone, remote desktop, email, chat, or ticketing systems

Troubleshoot technical problems related to applications, systems, hardware, and networks

Log and track issues using ticketing systems (e.g., Jira)

Analyze logs and diagnostics to identify root causes

Escalate complex issues to higher-level teams (L3, development, or infrastructure teams)

Document solutions, workarounds, and FAQs for internal use and knowledge base
