Position: Network & Security Engineer (2–3 Years’ Experience)
Location: Mumbai

Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Network & Security Engineer with 2–3 years of experience to design, implement, and maintain secure network solutions for our organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in LAN/WAN design, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and security tools, along with a strong understanding of compliance frameworks and practical experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.

Key Responsibilities

Network Design & Implementation

• Design, configure, and maintain robust LAN/WAN infrastructures.
• Manage and optimize routers, switches, and load balancers.
• Configure and maintain VPNs, including IPsec and SSL VPNs.

Security Management

• Implement and manage firewalls (Fortinet, NGFW), IDS/IPS, and WAF solutions.
• Develop and enforce access control policies and procedures.
• Implement DDoS protection strategies and key management solutions.

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure network configurations align with PCI-DSS, SAR/DL, SOC, and ISO 27001 standards.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance.

Monitoring & Analysis

• Perform vulnerability scanning and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Use SIEM tools for real-time monitoring and analysis of security events.
• Conduct packet capture and analysis using Wireshark or equivalent tools.

Certificate & Key Management

• Manage SSL/TLS certificates and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
• Oversee digital certificate renewals and secure distribution.

Incident Management & Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot and resolve network and security-related issues promptly.
• Respond to security incidents and perform thorough root cause analyses.

Collaboration & Documentation

• Collaborate with IT, development, and other teams to ensure secure deployments.
• Create and maintain clear documentation for network configurations and security procedures.

Required Skills & Expertise

Technical Proficiency

• Solid understanding of LAN/WAN design, routing, and switching.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Knowledge of Fortinet technologies, NGFW, IDS/IPS, WAF.

Security & Compliance

• Experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, SAR/DL, SOC, ISO 27001).
• Understanding of DDoS protection, access control, and digital certificate management.

Tools & Platforms

• Proficient with SIEM, PIM/PAM, and IPS/IDS tools.
• Strong experience configuring SSL/TLS and IPsec.

Soft Skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
