L2 WIFI Network Engineer

Overview

Experience in Networking Support, Technical support, Troubleshooting, debugging, maintenance, and any technical support in Wifi domain Experience in Cisco WLC, Cisco Access point, Cisco ISE.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Responsible to support the Day-to-Day Operations and ensure defined SLA has been met as agreed in the SOW.
• Process knowledge on ITIL.
• 5 – 8 Yrs of relevant experience in IT service delivery and handled multiple customer environments.
• Tracking and co-ordination of all incidents / problems till resolution.
• Identification of probable causes of failures in the Cisco Aps, WLC and ISE.
• Monitoring of the Critical Parameters for the Network devices like ISE, WLC, Aps.
• Defining methodologies / workaround to address the probable causes of failures in Case of incident or emergency in Wifi Network.
• Recommend on the possible solution / workaround to address the probable causes of failure in the Wifi environment.
• Performing troubleshooting and configuration in Cisco Access Point, ISE, WLC and IP address management.
• Maintain connectivity maps of the WLAN environment, detailing the connectivity and type of communication media used.
• Knowledge in Wifi connectivity for BYOD environment.
• Providing WLAN connectivity IoT related applications to devices like TABS, Scanners, Laptops, Wifi devices etc.
• Maintain and update the configuration change documents.
• IOS upgradation in Access Points, WLC and ISE and maintain a repository of the IOS images standardized for the WLAN environment.
• Backup configuration files periodically or otherwise as and when changes are made.
• Knowledge in Cisco prime monitoring tool.
• Experience in Switching (STP, VLAN, HSRP, VTP) and routing(OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
• Submit the weekly and monthly report related to Wifi Network.
• Coordination with vendors/OEM for escalation.
• Process knowledge on ITIL.

REQUIRED SKILLS :

• CCNA Wireless Certifications preferred.
• CISCO Switches and routers Hands on experience.
• Good Knowledge in the Cisco Products link Cisco switches, routers, Prime Infrastructure, Identity Service Engine, WLC etc.
• Good knowledge or certificate on CISCO etc.
• Validation of Network diagram - LAN/WAN topology on Periodic Basis
• Syslog analysis & Preparing Action Plan for Critical Alerts to Resolve the Issues
• Review of Network Device Hardening Mechanism On Periodic Basis 8.Knowledge on routing protocols like IGRP, EIGRP and OSPF

Pay: ₹1,400,000.00 - ₹1,700,000.00 per year
