Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Laravel (PHP).
• Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams to integrate user-facing elements.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Develop and manage database schemas (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Ensure security and data protection best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers if needed.
• Document technical decisions and development processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel framework.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, MVC architecture, and OOP principles.
• Experience with MySQL, Eloquent ORM, and query optimization.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Knowledge of unit testing and TDD is a plus.
• Experience with message queues (like Redis or RabbitMQ) is a plus.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with Docker or containerized environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of frontend tech (Vue.js/React) for better integration.
• Exposure to cloud services like AWS or GCP.
