Laravel Web Developer

Overview

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laravel Web Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in PHP and Laravel framework, with a deep understanding of building secure, scalable, and maintainable web applications. You will be responsible for developing backend components, connecting applications with third-party web services, and supporting the frontend team by integrating APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Laravel and PHP.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs and services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance of existing applications.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of web applications.
• Follow best practices and coding standards, including version control (Git).
• Write clean, well-documented, and scalable code.
• Stay up to date with the latest web development trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Laravel Developer (2+ years preferred).
• Strong proficiency in PHP and MySQL.
• Solid understanding of MVC architecture and OOP concepts.
• Experience with Laravel frameworks (Laravel 8 or higher).
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js (optional but a plus).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and API integration.
• Experience with version control tools (Git).
• Knowledge of deployment processes, server configuration, and databases.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus):

• Experience with Vue.js, React, or other JavaScript frameworks.
• Familiarity with Docker or other containerization tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Digital Ocean, etc.).
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
