Lead AI Engineer

Overview

FridayAI is on a mission to create Artificially Useful Intelligence (AUI) - AI systems that actually work in real-world environments. We are building the Adaptive Context Window (ACW) Engine and an advanced Adaptive Plugin Platform that lets enterprises optimize and scale their AI workloads intelligently.

We’re now expanding our core team and looking for a driven 2-3 year experienced engineer who wants to take ownership, grow fast, and lead a real product to launch.

What you’ll work on

Building our Adaptive Plugin architecture

Developing SDKs for Python and JS

Designing routing, caching, and optimization flows

Creating deployable cloud/on-prem packages

Contributing to technical decisions and roadmap

Working directly with founders on product engineering

This role is ideal for someone who loves solving real problems, wants responsibility, and is ready to build something meaningful instead of doing typical service-company tasks.

What we’re looking for

2-3 years of solid engineering experience

Experience with APIs, SDKs, or backend systems

Strong Python/Node background

Understanding of DevOps basics (Docker, CI/CD)

Problem-solving mindset and product thinking
