Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Business Analyst with strong domain knowledge in Capital Markets, including FOREX, Money Market, Bond Markets, and comprehensive experience in the Trade Lifecycle. The ideal candidate should also have hands-on experience with SWIFT message transformation (MT to MX), strong Accounting knowledge, SQL proficiency, and a solid grasp of the Agile Scrum framework. You will be leading strategic initiatives, managing cross-functional collaboration, and driving high-value solutions for global financial systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end business analysis activities for capital market systems and process enhancements
- Engage with stakeholders (Traders, Back Office, Finance, Operations, Risk, Compliance) to gather and prioritize requirements
- Define and document trade lifecycle processes across instruments (FX, Bonds, Money Market Instruments, Derivatives)
- Act as the SME for SWIFT message formats (MT/MX) and facilitate mapping for ISO 20022 migrations
- Translate business requirements into Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria in an Agile Scrum environment
- Participate in Agile ceremonies – Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, and QA teams to ensure business value delivery
- Utilize SQL for data extraction, reconciliation, reporting, and impact analysis
- Design accounting rules and ensure appropriate general ledger integration and P&L attribution
- Facilitate backlog grooming sessions and maintain product backlog with well-defined user stories
- Drive UAT planning, test case preparation, and execution sign-off with business users
- Coach junior business analysts and ensure adherence to best practices in Agile delivery and domain standards
- Lead the production and homologation support
Profile required
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 6+ years of Business Analyst experience in Capital Markets / Treasury / Investment Banking
- In-depth knowledge of:
- Capital Markets products: Bonds, FOREX, Money Market, Derivative instruments
- Full Trade Lifecycle: Front-to-back from trade capture to settlement and accounting
- Expertise in SWIFT message standards: MT103, MT202, MT300, MT 320, MT 210, MT 292 and MX equivalents (ISO 20022)
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis, extraction, and reconciliation
- Understanding of Accounting principles, trade booking logic, general ledger impacts, and NAV implications
- Hands-on experience working in Agile Scrum teams, writing Epics, User Stories, and collaborating with Product Owners
- Proficient in preparing BRD, FRD, Use Cases, Process Flows, and Data Mapping specifications
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Visio, Excel (Advanced)
- Business analysis certifications
- Experience in leading Agile transformation initiatives is a plus
- Experience with financial platforms like FO, BO and trade life cycle applications
- Agile certifications: CSPO, CSM, SAFe Agilist, or similar preferred
