Project description
The Position is for Treasury, where we drive technology and digital transformation across Treasury functions, including initiatives that will involve Digital Assets and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) alongside core Treasury platforms.
Responsibilities
As a Lead Business Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering complex technology and change initiatives. You will work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders to define scope, validate assumptions, assess impacts, and ensure solutions are well understood, well controlled, and fit for purpose in a regulated environment.
You will operate across multiple workstreams and complex problem spaces, contributing to discovery, planning, and delivery activities, and helping ensure that solutions are well defined, achievable, and aligned to strategic business objectives and operating model constraints.
You’ll also be:
Leading end-to-end functional analysis across complex Treasury and transaction-driven processes, working with business and technology stakeholders to clarify outcomes and success criteria
Driving detailed analysis of current state processes and contributing to the definition of pragmatic, achievable target state flows and operating models
Producing high-quality BA artefacts, including business and functional requirements, process flows, assumptions, dependencies, constraints, and impact assessments
Acting as a senior functional point of contact during delivery, supporting teams in managing scope, dependencies, risk, and change
Engaging effectively with stakeholders across business, operations, risk, finance, legal, and technology, providing clarity, structure, and constructive challenge
Contributing to initiatives involving Digital Assets, tokenised instruments, or DLT-enabled solutions, assessing impacts on Treasury operating models, settlement flows, liquidity management, controls, and regulatory obligations
Applying sound judgement when working with new or evolving technologies (including DLT-enabled solutions), assessing feasibility, delivery risk, and integration with existing platforms and processes
Skills
Must have
Previous experience of working as a BA in IT Industry, with a minimum of 6 years
Proven experience leading analysis on complex technology or transformation initiatives involving multiple systems, workstreams, and senior stakeholders
A strong understanding of transaction or trading lifecycles and their downstream operational, risk, finance, and reporting impacts
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problem spaces and drive clear, evidence based outcomes
Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments at scale
The ability to engage confidently and credibly with senior business and technology stakeholders, influencing decisions and constructively challenging assumptions
Practical working knowledge of Digital Assets or Distributed Ledger Technology from a business and process perspective, sufficient to assess feasibility, operating model impact, and delivery risk (deep technical expertise not required)
Strong capability to translate business objectives and regulatory or control requirements into clear, usable inputs for technology delivery teams
Experience working with documentation tools, code repositories, issue tracking tools, and collaboration platforms
