We are seeking a high-caliber Lead Business Analyst with a balanced skillset in logistics management, business analysis, and an understanding of data engineering and machine learning.
As a key player, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving impactful solutions in the logistics and pharma domain. This role requires strong stakeholder management, a deep understanding of business challenges, and the ability to steer discussions towards actionable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Owners to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Provide functional expertise in Logistics Management Systems (LMS) with a focus on general LMS operations, excluding R&D aspects
- Support the design and proposal of solutions leveraging knowledge of data engineering and machine learning concepts
- Drive discussions on complex topics and present outcomes to key stakeholders in a clear manner
- Ensure that proposed solutions align with both business goals and technical feasibility
- Guide technical teams by translating business needs into functional requirements without delving into minute technical details
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams operating in European working hours
- Offer strategic insights to enhance process improvements and innovation in logistics and pharma operations
- Adapt to evolving project needs and contribute within the scope of a potential future Product Owner role
Requirements
- 7-12 years of experience in business analysis, logistics management, or related domains
- Background in logistics management systems (LMS) and familiarity with the pharma domain
- Knowledge of data engineering, machine learning, and their applications to business challenges
- Expertise in stakeholder management, communication, and driving consensus among cross-functional teams
- Capability to create business proposals based on technical and functional understanding
- Solid understanding of European business environments and working hours
- Skills in analyzing and addressing functional challenges in logistics operations
Nice to have
- Familiarity with the interaction between data and LMS platforms
- Understanding of emerging trends in machine learning applications in the logistics and pharma sectors
- Exposure to leading business transformation initiatives in comparable industries
