Location: Kochi / Trivandrum Experience: 5+ Years Employment Type: Full-time Notice Period: Immediate About the Role We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst with strong expertise in Product Management and Payment Processing. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology teams, drive requirement discovery, define product capabilities, and support the delivery of payment solutions across merchant acquiring, digital payments, real-time payments, and cross-border transactions. Key Responsibilities • Conduct requirement workshops with business stakeholders, SMEs, and product teams. • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. • Create business process flows, wireframes, journey maps, and visual requirement artifacts. • Work closely with Product Owners to manage backlogs, prioritize features, and support sprint planning. • Define and refine product roadmaps aligned with business goals. • Analyze payment processing workflows and identify opportunities for optimization. • Collaborate with technology teams to design, test, and implement payment solutions. • Support API-based payment integration initiatives. • Monitor payment transaction flows, settlement processes, and operational impacts. • Ensure compliance with payment industry regulations and standards. • Generate reports, dashboards, and insights related to payment operations and business metrics. • Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams. Required Skills • Product Management & Business Analysis • Requirement elicitation and analysis. • Strong documentation and communication skills. • Experience creating: • User stories • Acceptance criteria • Business requirement documents • Process flows • Wireframes • Product backlogs • Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices. • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills. • Ability to visualize and articulate business requirements using diagrams and collaboration tools. • Payments Domain Expertise • Payment gateways and merchant acquiring. • Card networks (Visa, Mastercard, etc.). • Digital wallets and real-time payments. • Cross-border payments and settlement processes. • B2B payment lifecycle from origination to settlement. • Payment processing workflows and transaction management. • API-based payment integrations. • Understanding of: PCI-DSS, AML/KYC, PSD2 and Payment security and fraud management Preferred Skills • Experience with: TCS BaNCS Payments, GPP, Volante, C2P or similar payment processing platforms • SQL and data analysis. • Exposure to AI-driven fraud detection. • CBAP, CCBA, NACHA, SWIFT, or related certifications. • Experience with: JIRA, Azure DevOps, MIRO, Figma, Aha!, Visio and Draw.io. Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field. • Relevant Business Analysis experience within the Payments domain.
