Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Lead Cloud DevOps Engineer to guide our engineering efforts in automation, continuous integration, and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will possess 5-6 years of hands-on experience, strong technical proficiency in cloud-native technologies, and proven experience in mentoring teams, defining technical roadmaps, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our platforms.

Key Roles And Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD strategies across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Team Mentorship & Guidance: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code review feedback to junior and mid-level DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of engineering excellence.
• Architecture & Strategy: Define and drive the adoption of best practices for containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible), and DevSecOps principles.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee the implementation of robust monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to proactively ensure system security, availability, and performance.
• Collaboration & Project Management: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional development teams and stakeholders to streamline deployment cycles and troubleshoot complex production issues, providing definitive root cause analysis.
• Automation & Scripting: Drive automation initiatives across the organization using proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Groovy.
  
  

• Experience: 5–6 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles, with specific experience managing projects or leading a small team.
• Cloud Platforms: Expert knowledge of managing and optimizing infrastructure on major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Containerization & Orchestration: Deep proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
• IaC & Configuration Management: Extensive experience with Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible.
• CI/CD Leadership: Proven track record of architecting and managing complex CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Scripting & Automation: Strong command of scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
• Foundational Knowledge: In-depth understanding of networking, Linux systems, microservices architecture, and Git version control.
• Methodologies: Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies and a proactive approach to implementing DevSecOps practices.
  
  

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
