Job Title: Lead Data Scientist

About The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Scientist with a strong foundation in Python engineering and a deep understanding of AI, GenAI, and modern application architecture. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive the design and deployment of scalable AI solutions using the latest in machine learning and GenAI technologies.

About The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Scientist with a strong foundation in Python engineering and a deep understanding of AI, GenAI, and modern application architecture. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive the design and deployment of scalable AI solutions using the latest in machine learning and GenAI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions and end-to-end data science pipelines.
- Lead initiatives in Generative AI including LLMs, Transformers, NLP, and AI agents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines, model training workflows, and automated MLOps processes.
- Integrate AI models into microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the overall growth of the data science team.
- 8+ years of total experience with a strong focus on Python-based engineering and data science.
- Deep expertise in AI/ML techniques including Transformers, LLMs, NLP, and AI agents.
- Proven experience with data pipeline development, model training, deployment, and MLOps.
- Exposure to modern architectures like microservices and event-driven systems.
- Proficiency with tools and frameworks such as:
- Python, FastAPI
- Snowflake for data warehousing
- PyTorch or TensorFlow for model development
- LangChain and OpenAI APIs for GenAI use cases
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in productionizing AI solutions in enterprise environments.
- Prior involvement in building GenAI-based applications or prototypes.
- Contributions to open-source projects or publications in AI/ML is a plus.
