Role Lead Database Engineer

About The Role

Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

Providing support, guidance and collaborating with Application Developers to implement database design, and review developer's work to ensure correct implementation.

Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.

Review SQL slow query log to identify root cause and fix queries.

Tune SQL Queries, Indexes, Caches to reach 95 percentile performance requirements

Develop stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers and views using T-SQL.

Design logical and physical data models along with collaring, preparing and presenting statistical information for both internal and external use.

Ensure database optimization, integrity, consistency, security and privacy.

Create scripts to build new database objects.

Desired Skills

B.Tech / B.E. from reputed Engineering College / University

Must have 60% & above scores in entire academics

8-12 Years of experience in the same domain with

Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.

Strong knowledge of RDBMS, Data Modeling and Performance tuning concepts

Strong analytic skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets.

Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Ability to drive initiatives and work independently

Experience using version control tools like GIT, CI/CD process.

Strong oral and written communication skills, with excellent presentation skills.
