Join F-Secure as a Lead Full Stack Developer and drive the technical vision for our Services function. In this pivotal role, you'll architect and build secure, scalable applications while leading a talented team of developers and contractors toward ambitious technical goals.

As our technical lead, you'll bridge the gap between stakeholder vision and technical execution—translating business requirements into elegant full-stack solutions, mentoring team members, and ensuring our applications meet the highest standards of security and performance. You'll be the go-to expert who not only writes exceptional code but also guides architectural decisions, facilitates team collaboration, and keeps stakeholders informed on progress and potential challenges.

In addition to strong technical skills, succeeding in this role comes with strong attention to detail, continuous eagerness to learn and grow, and a passion for cybersecurity.

We are hiring for this role both in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Bengaluru, India. We work in a hybrid model, and you can work from home most of the time, but we'd love to see you in the office now and then too.

What You Will Do In This Role

• Design, build, test, and maintain full stack applications using Python and Java
• Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS and infrastructure as code with CDK, CloudFormation and Terraform
• Contribute to secure, maintainable, and well-tested codebases with comprehensive test coverage
• Collaborate with QA engineers to define test cases and automation strategies
• Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and technical planning sessions
• Set up, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
• Implement AI-powered automation solutions to enhance development efficiency
• Keep up with industry trends and contribute ideas for continuous improvement
  
  

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience in full stack development with strong proficiency in Python and Java
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management using Terraform
• Experience with shell scripting for automation and system administration
• Deep understanding of the importance of tests in the development workflow and experience with automated testing frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to set up, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD platforms
• Curiosity about AI tools like Copilot or Claude for development automation
• Full professional proficiency in English, with strong communication skills
