Job Title: Lead Software Engineer
Location: Remote (India)
Experience: 5–7 years
About the Role:
We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive backend development and system architecture for a healthcare platform. You'll build scalable, HIPAA-compliant systems using Java (JDK17+), Spring Boot, and AWS, and lead API design, infrastructure, and system integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead backend design, development, and architecture
- Build and maintain secure APIs and AWS infrastructure (Terraform)
- Ensure system reliability and data privacy compliance (HIPAA)
- Mentor engineers and uphold best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Participate in on-call support rotation
Tech Stack: Java, Spring Boot, AWS (Lambda, Fargate, ECS, RDS, DynamoDB, Cognito, etc.), Terraform, GitHub, REST APIs
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of backend development experience
- Strong AWS and Spring Boot expertise
- Experience in healthcare or HIPAA-compliant systems preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
