- Lead and mentor a team of Python developers, ensuring best practices and code standards.
- Architect, design, and develop advanced Python applications with a focus on data engineering and AI.
- Develop and maintain APIs using Python on Azure Functions for scalable microservices and integrations.
- Utilise Azure DevOps for CI/CD, project tracking, and automated deployment.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to build scalable data pipelines and machine learning solutions.
- Utilise Anaconda for package management, environment setup, and efficient code execution.
- Conduct code reviews and oversee project lifecycles, from design to deployment.
- Troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Stay updated with industry trends, especially in Python, data engineering, and AI, and incorporate them into team practices.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional Python development experience, including data engineering and AI applications.
- Strong experience in developing APIs using Azure Functions/Others.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps/Other DevOps tools for CI/CD and project management.
- Experience with Anaconda and associated tools for environment and package management.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure
- Proficiency in databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data transformation tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines
