Tasks

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead QA Engineer to join our team and lead our quality assurance efforts. You will be responsible for designing and implementing test strategies, managing test plans, mentoring QA engineers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality AI products with LLM. The ideal candidate has a strong background in both manual and automated testing, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the QA team in planning, execution, and delivery of test strategies and test plans.


• Develop and maintain automated and manual test frameworks.


• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define test requirements.


• Mentor and support junior QA engineers to ensure best practices and high performance.


• Oversee the testing of web, mobile, API, and/or backend applications, ensuring full coverage.


• Analyze and report test results, track defects, and ensure issues are resolved before release.


• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies.


• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release retrospectives.


• Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD integration and test environment management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


• 5+ years of experience in QA with at least 2 years in a lead or senior QA role.


• Proficiency in writing test plans, test cases, and executing both manual and automated tests.


• Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.


• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.


• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).


• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ISTQB certification or equivalent.


• Experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).


• Experience testing cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, GCP).


• Experience with bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).


• Experience with LLM-based AI products is preferred.


• Background in security or compliance testing (nice to have).
