About The Role

As the Senior Email Security Lead at NCG, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization against evolving email threats. You will help protect sensitive information and maintain the trust of our clients and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations into email threats, leveraging advanced tools and techniques to identify and mitigate risks.
• Design and implement detection rules to enhance our email security systems, ensuring timely identification of potential threats.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional development and enhancing team capabilities.
• Collaborate with SOC teams to address advanced persistent threats, ensuring a unified response to security incidents.
• Analyze threat intelligence data to inform security strategies and improve our email security posture.
• Ensure that email security practices comply with relevant regulations and industry standards, contributing to the overall governance framework.
  
  

You Might Be Our Ideal Match If You

• Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Have 3-6 years of experience in email security, cybersecurity, or a related domain.
• Are proficient in email security platforms, particularly Proofpoint or similar technologies.
• Possess a strong understanding of threat intelligence, email forensics, and incident response methodologies.
• Have experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation and analysis.
• Are familiar with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) as they pertain to email security.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
