Lead Software Engineer - DevOps

Responsibilities

• All team members are collectively responsible and autonomous for delivering value end to end
• Participate to testing, deployment and production activities of the team to ensure production stability
• Collaborate with other team members (both internal Societe Generale and external vendor consultants) across different locations in China and India
• Kubernetes management
• Install, configure, and maintain kubernetes clusters
• Ensure high availavility and performance of the kubernetes environments
• Implement security best practices for kubernetes clusters
• On prem infrastructure
• Manage on premise infrastructure to support Kubernetes deployments in China and India
• Collaborate with internal infrastructure providers (GTS) to optimize resources and cost
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployment processes
• Monitoring
• Monitor system performances and reliability
• Anticipate scaling needs
• Troobleshoot and resolve issues related to kubernetes clusters
• Collaboration and support
• Work closely with the development teams to streamline and improve developer experience
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability

Profile required

• Looking for experience level 10 years+ with strong technical skills.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters on-premises
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, github actions..)
• Knowledge of Python
• Knowledge of Unix (bash, systemd..)
• Familiarity with the ELK stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana)

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaborative abilities
