• 
  A minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience
• Planning, estimation, requirement analysis, the layout design of the assigned project and other ongoing projects in a team with Project Manager / Developer / Designer.
• Lead a team of developers (Front-End / UI) as well as contributing to a hands-on front-end developer
• Work closely with design, product management, and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive and interactive interfaces.
• Maintaining and auditing code quality as per set guidelines and standards in assigned projects.

• Training and mentoring of team members.
• People management & Technical management
• Implement and support compliance of self and team to Freshworks compliance and information security processes.

• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, SASS.
• Excellent knowledge of Javascript, Jquery
• Excellent Knowledge of Javascript
• MVC architecture and OOP programming style.
• Ability to pick and use Javascript Frameworks

We are seeking a visionary and decisive Lead Software Engineer - Frontend to join our dynamic team in Chennai, India. In this role, you will lead our frontend development efforts, driving innovation and excellence in our web applications.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the frontend development team
• Architect and implement scalable, high-performance frontend solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
• Establish best practices, coding standards, and development processes
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality across frontend projects
• Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends
• Contribute to the overall product strategy and roadmap
• Optimize application performance and user experience
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Participate in hiring and growing the frontend development team
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• 7+ years of frontend development experience, with 3+ years in a leadership or senior role
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Extensive experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Strong knowledge of state management libraries like Redux or MobX
• Expertise in build tools, package managers, and version control systems
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale web applications
• Experience managing and mentoring development teams
• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and responsive design
• Proficiency in frontend performance optimization techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Ability to make decisive technical decisions and drive projects forward
