Key responsibilities:1. Build and deploy data processing pipelines and applications in production environments.
2. Execute creative software design, development, and troubleshooting while thinking beyond conventional approaches to solve technical challenges.
3. Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for team deliverables.
4. Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues to enhance the operational stability of software applications and systems.
5. Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs, technical capabilities, and system compatibility.

1. Formal training or certification in Software Engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
2. Strong understanding of Big Data, data platforms, and core Data Engineering concepts.
3. Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability.
4. End-to-end experience in developing and managing data pipeline processes.
5. Proficient in programming with Python, FAST API, and Spark.
6. Technically skilled in AWS services including Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, ECS, and infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
7. Expertise across the data lifecycle with advanced SQL skills (joins, aggregations) and working knowledge of OLAP & OLTP databases.
8. Proficient in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and advanced knowledge of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
9. Ability to independently solve complex design and functionality challenges with minimal supervision.
10. Training in Generative AI concepts, including NLP and LLM models.
11. Practical experience implementing Generative AI solutions such as NLP applications involving LLMs, RAG, Prompt Engineering, and AWS Bedrock.
12. Previous hands-on experience with Snowflake data platform.
